Shaping tomorrow’s membrane leaders starts today — and we’re thrilled be part of the organizing committee of the 40th European Membrane Society (EMS) Summer School, hosted on the University of Twente campus from July 6–11, 2025. Under the theme “From Basic Principles towards Industrial Membrane Applications,” the summer school gives students and early-career researchers a chance to work closely established academics and business professionals.
Throughout the week, our business developer and researcher Wendy will be leading hands-on group case study sessions, challenging participants to apply membrane science to real-world applications water treatment, gas separation and resource recovery. These sessions not only reinforce the importance of practical, hands-on problem solving, but also reflect EMI Twente’s mission to connect academic innovation with real-world applications.
